Galeri Selvin 1985 tarihinde Selvin Cuhruk Gafuroğlu tarafından Ankara'da Bestekar Sok. 61/A Kavaklıdere adresinde kuruldu. Kuruluş amaçlarını ve hedeflerini sanatı tüm dallarıyla (resim, heykel, özgün baskı, seramik) tanıtmak ve yaygınlaştırmak olarak belirledi. O günden bu güne bu hedeflerin belirlediği yolda, değişen tüm ekonomik, siyasal ve toplumsal hareketliliğe rağmen sanat adına özveri ile çalışmalarına Ankara'dan sonra 2006 yılında İstanbul'da Arnavutköy'de açtığı galeride devam ediyor.
