Mimarlık Fakültesi’nin tarihçesi, “Hendese-i Mülkiye Mektebi” olarak kurulduğu 1884 yılına kadar uzanmaktadır.1900’lerin başında “Nafıa nezareti” ne bağlı olarak Yol, Demiryolu, Su İşleri ve İnşaat-Mimarlık şubelerine ayrılmış olan eğitimin Mimarlık şubesi, 1944 Yılında Mimarlık Fakültesi’ne dönüşmüştür. Mimarlık Fakültesi , 5 Bölüm ile lisans düzeyinde, 11 Anabilim Dalına bağlı 20 adet lisansüstü program ile yüksek lisans ve doktora düzeyinde eğitim vermektedir.
