The largest Catholic church in Istanbul. Located in the Tomtom district on İstiklal Street in the Beyoğlu district in the European section of Istanbul.
The church was founded on August 23, 1906 by the architect Giulio Mongeri, who was born in Istanbul. This church was opened on February 15, 1912. The church is run by Italian monks.
The church was built on 20 x 50 m 2 in the shape of a cross, the inner walls of the church are covered with a mosaic stone up to a specific height and the exterior of the building is covered with red bricks.
The entrance of the church is located between the two buildings that were established to support the church's physical income, where the door opens to the church square. The front view overlooking Istiklal Street is about 38m. The Church of St. Antony is the best example of coexistence in Turkey.
