The Ministry of Labor and Social Security in Turkey requires some conditions for companies and owners of companies in Turkey when employing foreign employees and seeking a work permit from the Ministry of Labor and Social Security in Turkey. These conditions are:
- The Ministry of Labor and Social Security of Turkey requires employers of companies wishing to recruit foreign employees in the company to employ five Turkish employees within the company for one foreign employee.
- The Turkish Ministry of Labor and Social Security requires the company wishing to grant the partnership to a foreigner to employ five Turks after six months of residence and work for the foreign partner.
- The foreign partner must have at least 20% of the value of the company in Turkey.
- The company's capital must not be less than TRY 100,000, or the company's sales should not be less than TRY 800,000 annually.
- The company must clarify its need for the foreign employee to apply for a work permit with the appropriate salary for his profession and not to be under the minimum wage set by the state.
- The Ministry of Labor and Social Security requires companies to employ a Turkish engineer in exchange for a foreign engineer. And that the foreign engineer's salary shall not be less than four times the minimum salary for the wages determined by the State.
The foreign employee's salary in tourist companies must be twice the minimum wage specified by the state. In case the tourist company has the tourist certificate and the owner of the company has 10 Turkish employees, the company owner can obtain a work permit from the Ministry of Labor and Social Security and an unlimited number of foreign employees.
